The Fayette County Reading Invitational is a voluntary event for avid readers in the fourth and fifth grades. Interested students will read the books for their grade level independent of the regular classroom. These books will not be read in class. Students from each grade level will compete for a spot o­n the fourth and fifth grade teams that will represent Sara Harp Minter in the county-level competition in the spring. Copies of these books will be available for checkout in the media center and AR quizzes will be available for all titles. These titles can be read to satisfy the 25-book reading campaign.
